INFORMATION TO AUTHORS/ FORMATTING ISSUES.

Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically to ijsecsoau@oauife.edu.ng.  Authors are requested to submit the text, tables, in electronic form to this address. Articles should be submitted only in Miscrosoft word document format. One author should be designated as the corresponding author with contact details that includes phone number and E-mail address

ARTICLE STRUCTURE

Manuscript:

• Manuscripts should be double spaced, Times New Roman and in size 12 font.
• Include keywords
• All figures (include relevant captions)
• All tables (including titles, description, footnotes)
• Ensure all figure and table citations in the text match the files provided
• Page numbers as footer
• Ensure all references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa

Manuscript Title in Times New Roman 16 Point Font and Title Case, avoid abbreviations and formulas.

First Author’s Name in Times New Roman 13 Point Font

Name of Institution in Times New Roman 13 Point Font Italicized

Additional Author’s Name in Times New Roman 13 Point Font

Abstract

Abstract should be between 50 to 200 words. Times New Roman 12 point font and should end with 5 keywords. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions

Introduction

Describe the purposes of the study and give the background information for your work. When describing the theoretical foundations and main ideas of your article, include a pertinent literature review with clear international linkages for related ideas. You should also outline connections to pertinent scholarly work in your field of study.

Methodology and methods

Provide sufficient detail to allow the context of the work to be thoroughly understood and/or for the work to be reproduced. Provide sufficient detail for readers to understand how you engaged in your research. Clear descriptions of your context and participants along with strategies used to collect and analyze data should be described.

Results

Results should be clear and concise.

Discussion

This section should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. Consolidating your findings and analysis into a unified section may be appropriate. Referencing pertinent material from the start should demonstrate the correlation or disruption between your work and previously published literature.

Conclusions

The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short Conclusions section, which may stand-alone or form a subsection of a Discussion or Results and Discussion section.

Appendices

If there is more than one appendix, they should be identified as A, B, C etc.

Heading Level 1 – Used for Each New Section, Times New Roman 12 Point, Bold, Left Justified and Title Case; One Blank Line Before and After Level 1 Heading

Body text. Times New Roman, 12 point fully justified. No gap between paragraphs.

Heading level 2, Times New Roman 12 point, bold italics, left justified and sentence case, one blank line before and after level 2 headings

Heading Level 3, Times New Roman 12 point, italics, Sentence case Lead paragraph continues after heading level 3 heading.

Body text. Times New Roman, 12 point fully justified. No gap between paragraphs.

Table 1: Tables should have a caption immediately above them. Times New Roman 12 point.

Figure 1:Figures should have a caption immediately below them. Times New Roman 12 point.

WORD LIMIT: The word limit for a Research Article is 9000, excluding tables and references, and we ask that the word count MUST be between 5000 and 9000 words. Please note that appendices, abstract and references are excluded in the total word count, while Tables and Figures are excluded from the word count. Authors will be asked to enter the word count of their manuscript upon submission.
